Safety 5 STAR EURO NCAP RATING Enjoy peace of mind with class-leading active safety performance. The Mazda2 Hybrid is available with a range of advanced safety features which are underpinned by an ultra-rigid bodyshell, providing an incredibly strong and lightweight protective safety cell around the driver and passengers. It is also one of the first cars in the segment to feature SRS centre airbags, which help prevent the driver and front passenger from colliding with each other in an impact.

Mazda2 Hybrid boasts a comprehensive list of standard equipment like Lane Tracing Assist (LTA) which features lane centring, Lane Departure Alert (LDA), steering assist and Vehicle sway warning. There is also a Pre-Crash Safety system (PCS), which, when a possibility of a frontal collision is determined, the brakes are automatically applied to help avoid or help reduce the impact of the collision. As a result, the Mazda2 Hybrid has earned the maximum five-star Euro-NCAP crashworthiness rating.
