You can keep your Mercedes-Benz van running like a Mercedes-Benz by paying as you go for maintenance, repairs, and MOTs. To ensure that you always know where you stand, we have fixed the cost of A and B services as well as the most often requested repairs. Pay as you go comes with many benefits:

Minor (A) and major (B) services

Once your van is 12 months old, you’ll require an annual service. Your service will switch between an A and B service every 12 months in the following years.

Pay as you go frequently asked questions:

1. What’s the difference between Pay as you go and a service plan?
Pay as you go servicing allows you to choose ad hoc maintenance for individual services as well as MOTs or repairs. Our service plans are more customised and involve a series of bookings to help you spread the cost or provide complete cover.

2. Do individual Dealers charge different prices?
No, we have fixed prices across the network for services, MOTs and the most common repairs. See the tables above.

3. What vans are included?
All of our Mercedes-Benz vans, except our electric range, are eligible for Pay as you go servicing, MOT and repairs.

4. What if I don’t have my van details?
To book online you’ll simply need your vans reg and mileage. If you don’t have these, please call your preferred Dealer.

5. How do I book a pay as you go service, MOT or repairs?
You can do it 24/7 using our online booking tool which will give you a quote for the work and allow you to pick a Dealer and a booking time and date. Alternatively, simply contact your Dealer direct.

6. Are electric vehicles applicable for Pay as you go?
Not currently, however we are reviewing this and may offer this option in the future. Please speak to your Dealer about individual servicing visits.

7. How do I find my preferred authorised Mercedes-Benz Dealer?
Simple, just click on Dealer locator.

8. How does my free breakdown cover and roadside assistance get renewed?
Every time your van is serviced with an authorised Mercedes-Benz Dealer, your cover is automatically renewed for 12 months – up to 30 years. It’s one of the added value benefits of Dealer servicing. You don’t need to have a full Dealer history – if you have a used van, or you’ve missed a service, you can re-qualify for MobiloVan cover for one year at any time simply by using an authorised Dealer for your next service.
