Group Premises Engineer
We are currently recruiting for an experienced multi-skilled operative to join our Facilities Team based in Southampton reporting directly to the Health & Safety/Facilities Manager.
The candidate will be visiting various sites across the South to carry out repairs/maintenance and other general duties within our dealerships and assisting with small project works.
We are looking for someone with either a background in this field or building, decorating, plumbing, electrics, carpentry or other similar skilled role.
Experience is required and qualifications desirable but not essential.
Due to the nature of the works, working at height will occasionally form part of the role and the candidate will be required to attend a course to operate Scissor Lifts/Cherry Pickers.
A vehicle and telephone (not for personal use), uniform and basic tools will be provided along with training where required.
We are looking for people who are:
* Motivated and able to use their own initiative when working alone.
* Flexible to meet the needs of the business.
* Excellent organisational skills to manage electronic diary/workload and to maintain expenditure records.
* Ability to liaise with Snows dealership management and contractors.
* Valid UK driving licence is essential.
Working hours applicable to the role are:
Monday – Friday: 8:30am – 4:30pm with half hour for lunch, including 1 Saturday per month to be completed with a day off in the week
