| Personal Contract Plan (also known as: PCP) If you want to keep your monthly payments low and enjoy the thrill of a new car more often, a 'Solutions' Personal Contract Plan (PCP) may be just the thing for you. ✓ Ideal for those wishing to change cars more often thanks to lower period of repayments ✓ Lower monthly payments ✓ PCP agreements can protect you from unforeseen depreciation of the vehicle’s value ✓ Deposits can be as little as one monthly payment ✓ Solutions is a flexible product, giving you three options for the end of your contract ✕ You are obliged to stay within an agreed-upon annual mileage; anything over will result in a fee |
| Hire Purchase (also known as: HP) Buying a SEAT with Hire Purchase means you will have to pay an initial payment followed by a fixed number of repayments over 1 - 5 Years. ✓ You will own the SEAT at the end of the agreement ✓ Some contracts may include vehicle maintenance ✓ No mileage restrictions ✓ Deposits can be as little as a single monthly payment ✓ Sometimes, there may be a no-deposit option ✓ You are able to choose the most fitting length of agreement to suit your budget ✓ Hire Purchase can be used on both new and used car purchases ✕ Monthly payments are usually higher than on PCP as the entire cost of the vehicle will be paid off |
| Personal Contract Hire (also known as: PCH) In short, Personal Contract Hire is a leasing option and works in a similar way to a long-term car rental. ✓ PCH is available to both private and business customers ✓ Customers will be able to change cars more frequently ✓ Easier than having to buy a new car in cash and sell it afterwards ✓ No depreciation worries ✓ Typically lower monthly payments ✓ At the end of the agreement, you hand the keys back ✓ If you're a business customer, some of the VAT rentals may be recoverable by VAT registered businesses ✕ You will have nothing to show for your monthly payments once the agreement has ended |
