Snows Group is an AM Top 50 automotive retailer covering 20 brands at 54 franchises. Based in the south and south-west of England the business differentiates itself from its' customers by delivering outstanding customer service for its' customers and manufacturer partners. We are on the lookout for an HR Advisor to join the HR and Payroll Team at Snows Head Office, Southampton.

The HR Advisor will provide proactive operational HR and administrative support to our Colleagues at all levels across the business and will be an active participant in delivering the People Agenda.

Your day

As an HR Advisor your day will involve:

• Promoting and maintaining positive people relations across the business.
• Offering support and advice to people managers on HR policies, practices and how to apply them.
• Dealing effectively & efficiently with ER issues.
• Contributing to and deliver Group Onboarding across the business ensuring new starters are welcomed.
• Advising and guiding all teams to ensure they understand HR policies and relevant legislation.
• Advising and coaching the Directors and Managers of contractual obligations & HR practices where necessary.
• Keeping the HR team up to date with any organisational changes for the organisation charts and other relevant amendments.
• Identifying and managing issues relating to absenteeism and provide appropriate support to Managers to enable their Colleagues’ return to work.
• Contributing to management reports and people metrics on a monthly basis.
• Keeping abreast of current employment legislation and make recommendations for updates / changes where appropriate.
• Carrying out data cleansing audits periodically.
• Carrying out project work/designing and delivering training as required.
• Traveling to dealerships within the business to provide support when needed.
• Comply with all of Snows policies and procedures.

Have you got what it takes?

• Able to plan, organise self and meet agreed work deadlines.
• Good listener with the ability to advise and support our teams across the Group.
• Able to assimilate information quickly and provide considered responses.
• Level 5 CIPD qualified or equivalent qualifications.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• PC, Microsoft, web literate.
• Full, clean driving licence.

Hours:

Monday to Friday 08:30 - 17:00 (with 1 hour for lunch).
