Last month, lucky customer, Kiagh Bridges collected his limited-edition Toyota Supra from Sales Executive, Matthew Khan at Snows Toyota Chichester. This particular Toyota Supra is 1 of 90 in the world, with just 30 of them being based in the UK.
To celebrate this exciting handover, we sat down with Kiagh to hear all about their plans for their Toyota Supra and their reasons for purchasing this limited-edition model.
Have you always been a fan of the Toyota Supra? If so, what made you choose this specific Supra?
“I've always loved the car, racing with it on Gran Turismo PlayStation games for as long as I can remember. So, when a new one was in the works, I knew I wanted to own one. Having a rare edition only adds to the appeal, and I absolutely love the Jarama Edition blue.”
Do you have a keen interest in rare vehicles?
“I've always been a lover of classics to be honest, I have attended classic car events in the past and just enjoy seeing them well looked after. I would love to own a 427 Shelby Cobra.”
How did you feel collecting the vehicle? Particularly as it sold 15 minutes after advertising.
“I'm the sort of person who isn't excited about something until it is right in front of me and happening, so until I saw the car it could've been any other day. But it is stunning so when I saw it in the showroom, I couldn't wait to get in it again.
I'd been looking for the Jarama Edition for a while and it was just sheer luck I happened to look right after it had been put up for sale, luck, or destiny!”
Is there a particular journey or event that you are excited to drive your new vehicle to?
Nothing in particular but I've always wanted to drive to the south of France and through some of the scenic routes down that way. Or along the north coast 500 in Scotland.
How did you find the purchase of your new vehicle?
I've been very happy with the process; it went so quickly and smoothly. Matthew was a pleasure to deal with and even drove the car to me for the test drive, though I'm sure he didn't mind driving it for several hours that day!!
