First it was the Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio. A stunning model that made its mark by reclaiming the title of 'Fastest Sedan' from the Porsche Panamara Turbo, with an incredible time of 7:32 at the German circuit.
Next, the Alfa Romeo Stelvio Quadrifoglio made its debut at the LA Auto Show 2016, where the brand promised that their latest SUV would deliver unbeatable power - and so it did. Shortly after, the Stelvio Quadrifoglio took to the famed 12.9-mile track, the Nordschleife, and did the badge proud after achieving a record-breaking time of just 7:51.7.
The record-smashing success of the two Quadrifoglio models have now been paid hostage to by the brand, with the latest reveal of the Stelvio and Giulia NRING Nurburgring Special Editions.

Alfa Romeo have now gone back to their roots and returned to the track, with the latest introduction of their Alfa Romeo Sauber F1 team.
After over 30 years off the track, Alfa Romeo have returned to F1 racing as Sauber's title sponsor with their latest challenger for the season - the C37 race car.
The 2018 Alfa Romeo Sauber racer is designed with a focus on the aerodynamic concept of the original Sauber C36-Ferrari, featuring new and improved parts like the shark fin and T-wings. The 2018 F1 Season saw Sauber team drivers, Marcus Ericsson and Charles Leclerc, take to the track and revive the Alfa Romeo name in racing history.
At the 2018 launch of the new Alfa Romeo racer, Sauber team principal Frederic Vasseur, explained "The return of Alfa Romeo to Formula 1 sets another milestone in the team's history, and I am proud that such a historical brand has chosen us for their return to the sport."
