Loyal Snows Toyota Plymouth customer: W.H. Bond receive radio-controlled model version of Toyota Hilux from Toyota (GB).
A loyal customer for 28 years with no fewer than 200 Hilux pick-ups purchased, Snows Toyota Plymouth’s customer: W.H. Bond were surprised and overjoyed by the thoughtful gift of a radio-controlled model version Toyota Hilux, complete with company livery in recognition of its custom from Toyota (GB).
Established in 1957, this family run business is based near Saltash in Cornwall and uses the Toyota Hilux to support their different commercial areas, including an award-winning timber merchant, bespoke civil engineering division, sales of plant and agricultural equipment.
Nicole Harding, Sales Representative for W.H Bond said: “This is a wonderful and thoughtful gift. The W.H. Bond livery features all the different areas of our business. Toyota is a valued supplier, and we have a great relationship with its fleet team and our local centre, Snows Toyota, in Plymouth. We look forward to receiving many more life-size Hilux in the future.”
The handover took place in Plymouth during a business meeting where Commercial Vehicle Manager at Snows Toyota Plymouth, Jo Letts was there to be part of this touching moment.
The radio-controlled Hilux is a capable small scale off-roader. Its features include: a ladder frame, live axle suspension with metal housing, leaf springs and oil dampers. Plus, to help tackle those tough conditions, it has a front metal under guard and contains an electric motor linked to a three-speed gearbox.
