£1,500 EV Grant: On the 15th July 2025 the UK Government announced a new £650m Electric Car Grant (ECG) scheme. This is part of the UK’s Plan for Change to help households save money and speed up the switch to greener, zero-emission cars.
The Electric Car Grant offers banded grant levels for vehicles priced at £37,000 or below, with eligibility criteria based on the sustainability of vehicle manufacturing (see Gov.uk for further details).
We have formally submitted the electric versions of the 208, 2008, 308, 308 SW, 408, E-Rifter, and E-Traveller models to the Department for Transport’s Office for Zero Emission Vehicles for inclusion in the scheme. Based on current sustainability assessments, we expect these models to qualify for a £1,500 grant, providing support toward your switch to electric.
Grants will be allocated and approved by Department of Transport’s Office for Zero Emission Vehicles on a first come, first served basis so please register your Interest.
