The Snows team were one of the many businesses that attended The Ageas Bowl in May for the Blue Lamp Trust 'Meet the Chief' event, to show our support and find out what work has been done for the Bobby Scheme, of which Snows Toyota are proud to be involved in.
The Blue Lamp Trust organise a number of meetings and events throughout the year to raise awareness for the Bobby Scheme and promote their own activities, including our Road Safety Conference and ‘Meet the Chiefs’ event.
The Meet the Chiefs breakfast event was hosted at The Ageas Bowl, where our Snows Toyota Divisional Corporate Manager, Alastair Rutt, and Group Corporate Sales Manager, Richard Betts, attended in May.
This was an opportunity for all supporters and customers of the scheme to meet with the Chief Constable of Hampshire Constabulary and the Chief Fire Officer of Hampshire Fire and Rescue, along with other Trustees. This event focused largely on the work of the Bobby Scheme, which Snows Toyota have continued to support and help provide valuable resources towards this cause.
The Bobby Scheme, mainly supported by Hampshire Constabulary and Hampshire Fire and Rescue, is a practical service which aims to assist and provide peace of mind to the vulnerable and elderly. The scheme gives people the reassurance that they need, and restores a sense of security within their own homes, particularly after a burglary. Improving home security also decreases the risk of future crimes.
