Frequently Asked Questions

What is a car valuation?

Close

A car valuation is how much your vehicle is worth. This is determined by a variety of factors, including mileage, model, age, and the vehicle's condition. Market trends will also be considered when providing a quote.

Are car valuations free?

Close

Yes, at Snows CUPRA, we offer free car valuations through our website, so you can find out your car's worth. This will not change through out the process.

What is the valuation process?

Close

The valuation process is quick and simple. First, you enter your vehicle’s registration number, the current mileage and a few other details that will help us identify your vehicle. Then you enter your contact details so our team can provide you with an estimated valuation. Once that is complete, you can speak to our team, who are specialised in CUPRA-approved used vehicles, to confirm your quote or discuss the quote further.

How are valuations calculated?

Close

The valuation is based on the condition of your vehicle and whether you need to do any work to sell it on as a CUPRA-approved vehicle.

The three levels to base your valuation guide on are:

  • Showroom condition: The vehicle is in pristine condition with no imperfections, with documented service history and a valid MOT certificate.
  • Average condition: Examples of average condition are that the vehicle may need a small amount of reconditioning work, including mechanical and/or paintwork, relative to vehicle age and mileage. If you have a documented service history and a valid MOT certificate, then you will also be in this stage.
  • Below average condition: The vehicle will require mechanical and/or bodywork repairs and may have limited service history.
