The Power of Hydrogen The Mirai is motorised by electricity made in its advanced fuel cell stack that fuses oxygen and hydrogen. Stored in tanks under the cabin, the hydrogen reacts with oxygen from the outside air to produce electricity, which is then used for power.

As a result… Zero tailpipe emissions. As a matter of fact, the tailpipe emits nothing but H2O - water. With a driving range of more than 400 miles*, the Mirai offers an exceptional, dynamic and satisfying rear-wheel drive experience combined with an eye-catching design.
