At its core, the health check includes a series of specialist inspections, including the following:
FIRST STEP
The status and condition of your Toyota 'traction' battery will be investigated. This is the battery which powers your car's wheels, and is separate to the 12v starter battery.
SECOND STEP
Next, the car's fuel consumption is checked and confirmed. This is to ensure that the petrol engine and electric motors are working together.
THIRD STEP
Lastly, the Hybrid's cooling system is examined to make sure that the arrangement is working at optimal temperature.
At the end of the test, our Toyota Centres will explain the test results to you to ensure that you fully understand the condition of your Toyota Hybrid. You will also be giving an accessible report which will provide you with itemised information from your Hybrid Health Check. This will help you make an informed decision on any further action which you might feel is required.
15 Year Toyota Hybrid Battery Cover
In addition to the manufacturer warranty, your Toyota Hybrid battery can benefit from up to 15 years of warranty in total. With every service at a Toyota dealer, the warranty is extended for a further 12 months, up to the 15th year of registration.
