Peugeot has crafted the 208 model to be the physical embodiment of 'regeneration'. It is a compact and agile city car that represents the highest level of quality and technology available from Peugeot. It is fully capable of taking on the demands of the road, and provides generous interior space for Motability needs and requirements.
Through production of the 208, Peugeot has made use of an eye-catching new style direction. Highlights of the exterior include the single floating grille, sculpted wings, and a distinctive headlight design. Both athletic and sensual,
Peugeot has brought a sense of balance to the overall look of the vehicle. Vehicle customisation is provided through a series of paint options, and 15 to 17-inch alloy wheels are available.
The interior has been designed to be ergonomic and simple to use, with all of the functions and featured technology placed within easy reach of the driver's seat. Drive information is broadcast through the head-up instrument panel, placed for easy viewing while driving. The cabin has been formed from soft, pleasing materials, and ambient lighting is also included for a unique driving atmosphere.
Engines for the 208 are available in both petrol and diesel versions, with automatic, piloted and manual gearboxes ranging from four to six-speed models. These give a combined fuel consumption of up to 83.1mpg, and CO2 emissions as low as 87g/km.
Six airbags are installed in the 208 as standard, as is the Electronic Stability Programme (ESP). An active footrest system is also featured, and the collapsible steering column provides additional safety in the unlikely event of a collision. Peugeot Connect SOS technology makes an automatic emergency call should the airbags inflate, alerting the emergency services to the location of the vehicle.
