Back in 2012, when the third generation was unveiled, the SEAT Leon was the first car in its segment to feature full LED technology.

The all-new SEAT Leon once again incorporates full LED technology. At the front, the dynamic headlights feature a brightness and clarity that will illuminate even the darkest roads. At the rear, the continuous coast-to-coast light, between the two rear lamps, on start up provides a striking welcome ceremony. The Leon will also include dynamic rear indicators, making it even clearer to other road users your intended direction of travel.

SEAT’s design and engineering teams have once again used lighting technology to accentuate Leon’s bold new interior design language. As you take your seat inside, the innovative lighting concept features a full LED wraparound ambient light running along the front dashboard and into the doors.

Alejandro Mesonero-Romanos, Director of Design at SEAT, said: “Advanced lighting technology is key in enhancing a vehicle’s design. In the all-new SEAT Leon, we have been able to use it to great effect to empower its already strong character. Inside, its wraparound ambient light takes the new Leon to yet another level of funcionality and aesthetics.”

The lighting technology of the all-new SEAT Leon has been designed and developed at the Technical Centre of SEAT in Martorell.

The fourth-generation SEAT Leon will be unveiled to the world on 28 January 2020.
