The Child of Wight Awards gives people the chance to celebrate the achievements of the Island’s most precious asset: its children.
John Irvine, WightFibre CEO, says: "After two years of COVID it is great to have the Child of Wight Awards back for 2022. I’m sure there are going to be many incredible young people who deserve some special recognition after such an unusual time. WightFibre is really proud of our association with Isle of Wight Radio and the Child of Wight Awards. We are delighted to sponsor these awards again for the sixth year running. You can now nominate a child who you think deserves to be recognised for outstanding achievements.

Nominations need to be in by Friday 8th April 2022.
Run by Isle of Wight Radio, the awards will handed out in a ceremony at Tapnell Farm Park on Friday 13th May 2022. The Island's children will be honoured in an evening full of emotion and uplifting stories that highlight their great qualities, with entertainment throughout the event.
