Snows Community Bulletin - 27.03.2020

Discover what the Snows team are doing to help our community during these unprecedented times. Stronger Together.

Keeping our most valuable services on the road.

Our technicians, Chris Wills and Mike Kessie, at Snows Mercedes-Benz Van Centre in Exeter agreed to provide the 24 hour breakdown service as soon as the pandemic crisis hit. Chris was subsequently called out on Monday to a Waitrose delivery vehicle with a brake system failure warning. Chris was there within 20 minutes, diagnosed a sensor fault, replaced it, tested it and had the van back on the road within the hour!

With the huge surge of online orders being made, due to many people panic buying and bulk ordering food, it is more crucial than ever that these delivery services move efficiently and on schedule. Therefore, this level of fast and valuable work is greatly appreciated - fantastic work Chris!

Here when our customers need us most.

Tracy Nicholls had an extremely unfortunate incident on her way to Snows Volvo Winchester for her MOT, but thankfully our excellent team were there to help. Tracy contacted us this week to say: "Thank you so much to your team who completed my MOT yesterday. On the way there I was hit by an articulated lorry which was terrifying for me.[...]

"Your team were wonderful and kind and took very good care of me. They made sure I had a warm drink and that my car was safe to drive. I can’t thank them enough for their kindness and professionalism. Particular thanks to the young man who first approached me when I was crying and distressed in my car". Well done to our Technician, Jake, for providing next-level customer care.

SARC donates to the NHS

Snows Accident Repair Centre have given an extremely beneficial donation to the NHS University Hospital Southampton, in order to help the hospitals keep well stocked with crucial personal protection equipment. This included items like paper overalls, masks and gloves. What a fantastic act of good-will, nice work Dan Bush. Lucy Monger, NHS Deputy Head of Procurement, got in touch: "I just wanted to say a massive thank you to Snows for the donation of PPE to University Hospital Southampton. This is really really appreciated and is a massive help to us here. Please all take care in this difficult time."

This is a great idea for all dealerships to keep in mind, if we have any un-used or spare protective clothing available to giveaway, make sure to get in touch with your local community to see how we can help. Let's help keep our valuable NHS safe!

And at Snows BMW Portsmouth, we're helping keep our key workers on the road by servicing police vehicles and making sure this country keeps running as smoothly as possible...
