Snows SEAT wins big for their Used Car Sales performance

Last night, Snows SEAT Portsmouth was crowned 'Used Car Dealership of the Year (51-100 cars)' at the Car Dealer 'Used Car Awards' as sponsored by Black Horse!

A huge congratulations are in order for the team at Snows SEAT Portsmouth who won yet another piece of silverware (well, acrylic) for their Used Car Sales performance this year.​

The event, sponsored by Black Horse and hosted once again by TV’s Mr Wheeler Dealer Mike Brewer, drew hundreds of professionals to The Brewery in London for an evening of glitz and glamour that honoured the smaller independents to the larger groups.

It’s the eighth year that the Used Car Awards have been held by Car Dealer Magazine, highlighting dealers from across the used car sector in a variety of categories, including a new one this year that recognised the best dealerships when it comes to days to sell.

Their thorough judging process – which included a mystery shopping round – separated the wheat from the chaff, scoring on performance to reward the best, brightest, smartest and downright nicest in the used car trade. In James Baggotts own words to Neil McCue, “the mystery shop at Portsmouth was outstanding” – the full works including a CitNow.

Congratulating everyone who had made it through to the big night, James Baggott, chief executive of the Baize Group, which owns Car Dealer Magazine publisher Blackball Media, told the attendees: ‘We’re incredibly proud to be able to host these special awards that are unique in giving everyone the chance to shine in the spotlight.

‘There’s no doubt 2019 has been one of the toughest years the automotive industry has encountered for a while. Used car sales have dipped ever so slightly – by less than one per cent – but still an incredible 6.1 million have changed hands.
