Launched in 2012, the 'Toyota Fund for a Better Tomorrow' is a scheme that allows Toyota dealers to apply for funding of up to £2,000 to support local community projects. These projects are primarily focused on aiding and increasing environmental conservation, road safety, and improving education.
St Francis School in Fareham is a special school for children aged between two and nineteen years old with severe learning difficulties or profound and multiple learning difficulties. The school aims to provide a supportive and comfortable environment which both children and adults can enjoy. All the staff are highly motivated and committed to offering the highest quality education provision and dedicated to meeting the required needs of the children and their families.
Snows Toyota are proud to support this close community and to provide our very own contribution to the efforts aiming to keep improving the fantastic services that St Francis provides. The school is currently fundraising for a much needed new minibus and we were more than happy to provide £1,800 to this worthy cause. The minibus fund was originally set up due to the loss of one school bus because of its age, and another minibus that was unfortunately unstable. We feel that it is important for the school to have the necessary ease of transportation, as well as the ability to continue giving pupils the opportunity to participate in beneficial offsite activities. The possibilities are endless when you have the chance, and we wish all the luck to St Francis with their fundraising and reaching their target goal.
