Snows Toyota Southampton’s Business Centre has been shortlisted for Best Fleet Operation at the AM Awards, which will take place on Thursday 9th February at the International Convention Centre in Birmingham.
The team was nominated by Toyota GB, in a follow up from the Centre previously winning the prestigious Toyota GB’s Business Centre of the Year award in 2016. Since then, the Centre has continued to deliver excellent customer service to businesses across the region.
Headed up by Business Centre Manager Alastair Rutt, who has been with Snows for over a decade, Toyota Southampton’s fleet team is thriving; just over a year ago the Centre took on Trainee Business Executive James Lonergan in a move to expand, and now also has a dedicated Commercial Vehicle Manager (Paul Collingwood) – making the Centre one of just 25 Toyota Specialist Commercial Centres in the business network. Sue, the Business Centre Administrator, has been ensuring that everything runs smoothly behind the scenes for many years, and is a former Toyota Business Centre Administrator of the Year herself.
After being nominated for Best Fleet Operation in the AM Awards, the team was interviewed by independent auditors BDO and has now made the shortlist. This list reflects those businesses which provide an excellent customer service to the fleet market.

Each year, the fleet department overachieves their Toyota targets, and each year this percentage increases. This is largely thanks to one of their key sources of new business: referrals.
