Thorndon Tennis Club Blazes Trail of Success in Aegon Tennis Leagues

One of Snows' sponsored sports clubs, Thorndon Tennis Club, has already had a successful summer, with a total of four Aegon County Leagues secured for the season. The Girls’ 16 and Under team, Boys’ 16 and Under team, Boys’ 14 and Under team, and Men’s team all finished the season unbeaten, with the closest fought match being between the Men’s team and North Oxford, which was won in a “shoot-out” (7-6) after the scores were tied.

The Men’s team, comprised of Paul Scullard (Captain); Karim Aouichaoui; Michael Johndon; James Blair; Harry Dunnett; Graham Neale; Tim Cook; and David Darrock, has been promoted to the Aegon National League, thanks to a series of wins. They beat the Maidenhead second team 12-0, David Lloyd Milton Keynes first team 10–2, Windsor 10-2 and Caversham 10-2.
