The A3 EV Grant programme: for cleaner air in Guildford!

The A3 EV Grant programme will be offering businesses who currently drive a diesel van regularly – at least 150 single journeys annually - on the A3 between the A31 to Farnham junction and the Guildford University of Surrey junction , a grant of up to £10,000 towards a NEW fully electric light commercial vehicle (N1). The scheme launches in mid-September 2023 and expected to run until December 2025.

Surrey County Council (SCC) are delivering this scheme under the Electric Towns & Cities Initiative from the Department for Transport (DFT) and through National Highways. The objective is to reduce emissions on this section of the A3 where the nitrogen dioxide (NO2) emissions level is the highest recorded concentration anywhere on the Strategic Road Network in England (excluding London).

The new and eligible electric vans must be purchased from an accredited dealership, which Snows are proud to be a part of.
